  • Co-autor of the successful grant application to host the INOGOV Massive Open Online Course “Governing climate change: Polycentricity in Action?” (jointly with Dave Huitema)
  • Lead organizer of the INOGOV international spring school on “Governing climate change: Polycentricity in Action?” for 25 European PhD students in Heerlen in March 2017 (financed by two grants led by Dave Huitema

International teaching collaboration (2014-15)

2015 Project leader at Lund University for the Massive Open Online Course “Climate Change: A question of justice?” produced by Hagen University in collaboration with Lund, 8 weeks with 2.900 international participants

2015  “The heat is up! Cross-disciplinary perspectives on climate change negotiations” joint module in the M.Sc. Environmental Sciences at the University of Hagen and the M.A. Environmental Citizenship and Participation at the Universidade Aberta (Portugal), 2 months online learning, 5-day workshop in Lisbon (my role: official project leader and lecturer, initiated and run by Daniel Otto)

2014 “Living with climate change – a digital story” joint module in the M.Sc. Environmental Sciences at the University of Hagen and the M.A. Ouvert à Distance en Eco-Tourism (MODECO), Université Virtuelle de Tunis (UVT), 5-day workshop in Hamburg, 2 months online learning, 5-day workshop in Tunis (my role: official project leader and lecturer, initiated and run by Daniel Otto)

I have supervised 67 B.A. theses and 28 M.A. (or Magister) theses in the last years, mostly at the Distance Teaching University in Hagen, but also at the MLU Halle-Wittenberg and Hamburg University.
